Instrument Rating Instructor

IRI is necessary to carry out the practical flight training for IR(A).

There are 2 variant forms to hold the course:

I option:

Candidate holds FI(A) rating A candidate is expected to hold at least:

• 25 hours of theoretical training
• 5 hours of practical training with an instructor using an aircraft, flight simulator or FNPT II.

Requirements:

be IR(A) holder have at least 200 IFR flying hours:
 50 hours can be accomplished with aflight simulator or FNPT II).

II option:

Candidate is not the holder of FI(A) rating A candidate is expected to hold at least:

• 25 hours of theoretical training
• 10 hours of practical training with an instructor using an aircraft, flight simulator orFNPT II.

Requirements:
be IR(A) holder have at least 800 IFR flying hours - 400 hours should be accomplished using an aircraft.
